Adult Social Care Short Courses
Our adult and social care courses are aimed at the front line and management. We deliver a number of level 3 courses that will help you to demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and skills in a number of specialist social care activities. For example, working and supporting individuals diagnosed with autism, mental health, learning disability and dementia. We also deliver a care workers course for those supporting individuals at the end of life.
Support Workers and Carers Qualifications
Training for support workers and carers is not merely a box-ticking exercise; instead, an investment in skills and confidence. Quality training has benefits not only for the care worker or support worker but also for individuals receiving care, their families and others. Our training aligns with regulatory standards and embeds real-life experiences from tutors who have also walked the walk as support workers and carers.
Our accredited carers’ qualifications enable you to demonstrate you meet recognised standards of competence and knowledge. These qualifications can open doors to further professional development and career advancement in the care sector. Completing our accredited carers qualifications might enable you to be eligible for roles that offer more responsibility or specialised areas of practice. Many employers in the health and social care sector also look favourably upon candidates who hold certified credentials because it reflects a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
There is a requirement to demonstrate training beyond mandatory care courses, especially when registering new regulated activities. Local authorities might also require additional training to fulfil contracts and be allowed to provide specialist services.
